One-sided coating weight and layer thickness measurement

Physical principle:

Non-contact basis weight measurement of coating weights, plastic components or coatings by means of infrared absorption.

Application range:

The use of infrared measuring technology allows the weight per quar meter of plastic components to be measured on plastic webs, plastic coatings or cellulose/plastic mixtures. Depending on the type of polymer, selective layer thickness or distribution measurement is also possible.

Depending on the application, the sensors require a double-sided or single-sided sensor arrangement.
