Marking of defective area<\/h3>\n

MRP<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>offers marking devices with frontal movable print heads for the marking of the product web. On request, different colours, water-based or with solvents of fluorescent, can be used. Up to 3 print heads can be installed side by side. In order to detect system errors as soon as possible, a read back is performed di-rectly after label printing. The applied colour strips can be visually evaluated by the operator or a corresponding sensor located at the subsequent processing machines.<\/p>\n

In addition to the defective area marking, MRP also offers code marking. This marking device prints a run-ning meter code some mm off the edge of the web. This code can be read back by subsequent processing machines. Thus the information about the current running meter is available at the reading station. In con-junction with the database of the web inspection systems and a coupling with the drive system of the sub-sequent processing machine, the exact position of the desired target (the defect) can be approached in machine direction. The system can also be installed to third-party web inspection systems, provided, they can create a trigger signal for the critical defects.
